Puppy Camp
Susan Garrett is offering a Puppy Camp Friday – Sunday, April 10-12, 2009
The puppy camps are for dogs between the age of 8 weeks and 1 year. As an agility competitor and dog trainer, Susan Garrett is a rock-star. Her methods incorporate drive-training which she borrowed and adapted from schutzhund trainers. No matter what your goals are with your dog, schutzhund, agility, obedience, or just a well-behaved pet, you will benefit from attending this camp.
If you can please try to attend this camp! It is pricey but it is worth every penny. You may also elect to be an observer at a lower rate. Participant: $595 (US);Observer: $255 (US) for three days, $110 (US) per day

Pieka and I attended a Puppy Camp in November – it was great. It is quite the learning experience – I emailed Julie during the camp and told her that my brain hurt.
Susan is an amazing trainer and her assistants are also extremely skilled. I’ve continued to incorporate a lot of her methods into my training since the camp. We won’t be attending the upcoming camp but I wanted to give it another plug.
And – how can you top this – while we were there, Pieka and I became part of the town’s Christmas parade! They had the streets by the hotel blocked off for the parade – the very kind police opened up a spot and Pieka and I drove behind a giant Santa float for about 20 minutes! May you all be so lucky.
