Story to Share

There is a writer on ESPN.com that I regularly read; he has the kind of dry humour that is right up my ally and speaks his mind as much as he can.  Anyway, I went to see if there were any new articles today, usually new articles are posted on Fridays, and there was a new one.  However, it wasn’t they type of article I was expecting but I thought it was very well written and wanted to share it with those who might find it interesting.  It is his story about his family dog.  Anyway, if you have a few mineutes I recommend it.

  1. That was a touching, heartfelt story. You should have warned us to have the kleenex ready.

  2. That was very moving, thank you for sharing. I agree with Margot—bad Joe!

  3. Joe that was excellent, thank you so much for sharing this piece.

The author, Bill Simmon’s got it right:

I don’t know how dogs know, but they know. Dogs always know.

    Dogs always know….

  4. Well, now I’m all teary-eyed. That was a beautiful story about a situation that we all have found ourselves in.

No matter how long they are with us, it is just never long enough.
