I told Rudi yesterday it was too cold to put water in his pool (youv'e ratted me out) instead he played and carried his pool all over the yard, just let him have his way. I use it handheld and it's sharp enough to allow me to photograph the dogs and birds from a great distance and then crop severely and still get a passable snapshot most times. The eagle, for example, was shot at 250 and only comprised about one eighth or less of the total frame. I think it also helps that I shoot RAW. If I am shooting professionally like you, then I clean up my act a little and take a monopod and bigger, heavier, longer lenses - ugh! Julie,
