Ugly Duckling

Feb 19th Kira gave birth to a single puppy, sired by Hoss. It was a little girl, good sized, but not as big as she could have been considering she was a singleton. She had a thick-curly coat. Well, to say it bluntly she was rather homely, so we thought. Here is our precocious Kayla just moments after birth and then two months later with daffodil pollen on her nose.

That little girl was only a ducking for a fleeting moment! Now she’s saying, “HA! Fooled you!”
