Today I was surprised to find a certificate from the AKC in my mailbox. It’s for Chopper’s RN. I know the RN is like the most basic title, and I wished we could have placed a little higher in the process, but I’m happy to have my first official title on my first dog. I’ll have to rearrange the fridge b/c she has so many other certificates from our training “graduations”. Now I am training geared more towards the CD (which no one at my club has ever done, so we’ll see how this goes), and we’ll do the RA once I have money for more shows.

Not exactly dog related, though likely motivated by the fact that my dogs are in better shape than me and eat better too, I’ve lost 25lbs and many a pant size since New Year’s. Phil and I made a pact with his parents and siblings. I think he has lost more than 40lbs. Guys have it so easy! Now maybe we can keep up with our dogs…
