For the first couple of days after the puppies were born I was very concerned about the amount of milk Faye had—she simply had way too much. Her teets were so swollen and hard.  

This is a concern as it could result in milk fever, which is very painful and if not tended to could develop into a deadly situation.  I began plan to seek out some orphaned pups in need of a milk-nurse to help relieve the over abundance of milk.

Today I am happy to report that the 3 piglets have done a stellar job of eliminating all excesses of the milk supply…..and it shows…these guys are little porkers.

Tiffany—Funny says she can’t wait for you to see her new babes too.  Though, she thinks I “mess” with them way too much!
